Amazing India & World Heritage Sites, Ragas on Guitar Journey is binding ancient heritages of the earth musically. It is led by Artist, composer-guitarist: Kapil Srivastava, who is composing one unique tune (based on ancient ragas) and dedicating it for each heritage site. He is further video-shooting the melody at that particular heritage having initiated the project from India.

As the pandemic is settling, we are gradually covering some unique ancient temples in the states of Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Odisha & Uttar Pradesh as our next heritages after Delhi. Some of the unique sites include:

“Music is all about making people smile & relaxed. Music adds juice, emotions and joyfulness to our orderly life. After the successful Guinness World Record in 2016 at Surat, I was blessed with this idea, where my motto was to spread the divine emotions (Rasas) of our Ancient Indian Ragas through Acoustic Guitar, to communicate the lifestyle of harmony to the world. India is the ancient civilization of the world with 5000+ years old written history mentioning many of its architecture (still present in India), from the time unknown. As Indian heritages are slowly becoming known to the world, many believes that India should be the heritage country of the world. The reality is that even the simple streets of European countries are globally famous but people are yet uninformed about 1000s of years old architecture, scientific wisdom and legacy of Ancient Bharat.
This project is to educate the world with our heritage and who we are as an ancient Bharat.

अब तक हम सड़कों, रास्ते और किलोमीटर से भारत के प्रमुख स्थानों को जोड़ते हैं।
ये परियोजना रागों व धुनों से भारत के ऐतिहासिक स्थलो को देखने और जोड़ने की यात्रा हैं। ये इछाओ, सपनो, भावनाओ से लोगो को अपने भारत से जोड़ने की यात्रा हैं।
ये अनूठी यात्रा ना सिर्फ पुरे भारत को एक दुसरे से जोड़ेगी, पर पुरे विश्व को रचनात्मक ढंग से भारत के साथ जोड़ेगी

This project is not just limited to India but also include some of the beautiful ancient architectures of the world. Believing in the Philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family), Indian people, which accounts to almost 1/5th of the world (having 1.35 billion of population) are also unaware about several prestigious heritages of the world.
Almost 50 Million Indians travel worldwide every year but due to lack of awareness they are confined to visit only the few tourist destinations, excluding or ignoring rest other countries. This project is an opportunity for all of us to change it. Connect us at [email protected]

Kapil Srivastava, winner of state award, also having composed for bollywood movie Dubai Returns (starring Lt. Irrfan Khan), is a composer-guitarist who has composed & performed with many prominent artists viz. Ustad Sultan Khan, Grammy Winner Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt etc. As an educationist, he brought the bachelor degree course in guitar (in India) & authored several guitar books. Furthermore, he has trained guitar to thousands of students producing many professional guitarists.
