Press Release 8 May, Sunday – Mother’s Day Salutation by Guitarmonk

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, a special day for loving children to greet their mothers, Guitarmonk is paying a musical tribute as a salutation for our mothers, along with live music greetings, bouquets and surprise gifts.

In today’s world, mother has more pressures than before as she aspires to provide her children with every need and value of life be it good food, good teachers, good music or sports etc, and everything whatever she can give her children to make them feel happy and fulfill their dreams of life. Mother is the one who give all of her at times for our countless needs besides teaching us love, care, and value of togetherness, fairness and trust in life.

The one we cherish the most. The one of all, of the many people who adds value to our lives, a mother is indubitably the most special. Some say they are our guiding force, responsible for making us who we are. Some call them the architect of our lives.  And there is no way we can neglect seeing her sacrifices for us. Most children are unable to recognize what their parents did for them and especially what mothers did for us until we face the practical Independent life or become parents ourselves said Kapil Srivastava (Founder, Guitarmonk)

Mother’s day is both an opportunity to celebrate and salute our moms for the love, comfort and care they provided us in so many ways and between so many various struggles of personal, professional, emotional life. It’s also a day to reflect the opportunities of today’s mothers in nurturing their kids with real life values, health so that their kids can lead a healthy and better life tomorrow.

We have selected a special repertoire of old classic melodies belonging to our mother’s music time which will overwhelm them by our Greeting Musicians.

Mother’s Day Poem by Hazel – Celebrate Mother’s Day Musically

I’ve been busy growing up

Chasing all my dreams

Wanting to try all what life can offer me

Until I realized

I left your side

I was out on my own

And it’s been a long time

Since I last sat down with you

Sharing some tea while we talked about the birds and the bees

~*~

I miss the homemade meals

And the conversations at the dinner table

The warmth of your hug whenever  I catch a cold

Later on I noticed your hair have all turned gray

Your teeth have fallen too

Your back is now bent

And your skin is all sagged

You lost your agility

But your eyes didn’t lose their sparkle

Where was I all this time

That I failed to notice that time quickly flies

You’re getting weaker each day

I should have known better

And spent more time with you

While you can still hear me and look me in the eyes

Unlike now, you have shut your eyes

But in your lips remained a smile

Though I regret not spending enough time with you

I am grateful for all the things you did

You raised me well and taught me a lot about life

I wish you can see me for what I have become now

I know you will and you can see me better from where you are

Thanks to you mom, I owe you my life

I am who I am now because you’re my mom
