Darasingh one of the most popular faces from Punjab, India. An Indian wrestler-turned-actor, a director, film producer, writer and a television actor.

He played the ever-memorable role of ‘Hanuman’ in one of the most popular Indian Television Serial – Ramayan.

He died on 12 July 2012 around 7:30 in the morning at his residence, Dara Villa in Juhu area of Mumbai due to  arrest.
