Festivities, Celebration, Regional compositions and diversification are existence treasure to the human life. Folk/Regional music, regional values stands beyond the periphery of classical instruments or music.

The Garba of Gujarat, Lavani of Maharashtra, the gidda of Punjab, songs of Kashmir, Himachal, Assam etc.. Folk music compositions, compositional structure and heritage, hold different philosophy, values and communicate a different meaning, objective and existence to life i.e. other than pure classical music.

Swarang was an objective to salute this rich independent heritage. Swarang even connect us to those numerous instruments that are not part of classical domains as Mouthorgan, Mandolin, Spanish Guitars, Ektara, Dholak etc.

Philosophy & Goal

Swarang is an amalgamation of two words as SWAR (Musical Note) + RANG (Color). Folk music is symbolic to celebration, festivities of our culture and its various colors. Swarang Album concept is to preserve these various colors across wider territories.
